Possibilities

BoostHbg offers a number of support functions. In order to qualify for our assistance, one must successfully complete an application with a comprehensive project story and reside in Skåne. We prefer to get involved in projects early in their process.

Applicable projects include:

Feature film as well as other long-format drama productions

Feature-length documentary films

Short films and short documentaries

Cross-media projects

Those who are accepted will be invited to a meeting where both the project and the talent's situation are assessed. During this meeting we aim to create a collaboration agreement as well as develop a project timeline, an action plan and key milestones. Any necessary outside contributors (our partners) also are identified at this time.

In the Process

To drive a project from start to finish is a long, often exhaustive journey and
includes running several processes simultaneously. BoostHbg acts as a
soundboard and provides templates for such things as budget outlines,
application forms, project descriptions, script development and dramatic
treatments.

Writing grant for Script Development

Very few individuals manage to earn compensation while they begin to develop a script. Through BoostHbg one can apply for a writer's stipend for feature film and documentary film development as well as for long-format drama productions.

Mentors

For inspiration, expertise and networking possibilities, BoostHbg has an
official mentor program where an established professional is matched with a
chosen talent and supports him or her throughout the length of their project.

Consultants

In order to ensure a high standard of projects, BoostHbg can bring in
professional consultants from a variety of fields such as narrative experts,
editing advisors and sound specialists.

Technology

At BoostHbg we experiment with form and script, perform castings, provide
location scouting, assist with rehearsals and offer filming of shorter format
projects or pilots. In some cases, our resources can be used with feature-length documentaries. BoostHbg's facilities include camera, optics, light, sound and editing equipment. We also have cooperation with other electronic suppliers for complementary and more advanced equipment when needed.

Workshops

Workshops regarding specific areas of the creative process will be arranged by BoostHbg and opened for most.

Facilities

BoostHbg offers facilities for office space, rehearsals, castings, workshops,
meetings and film showings. Our facilities are multi-functional and forward-
thinking in design.

Matchmaking

A production consists of many varied work functions. With its vast network,
BoostHbg can connect the right people with the right project.

Greenhouse Grants

In partnership with Film i Skåne, BoostHbg offers a basic grant to up-and-
coming filmmakers who demonstrate exceptional creativity with the potential for success in the professional world. One can apply for a 5,000 SEK grant as well as a technical equipment or consultant contribution.
