The Cross Media Talent Project is a 3-year initiative that is financed by the EU's structure fund through its association with the collection of activities at Moving Media Southern Skåne (MMSS).

The project's purpose is to develop the different branches within the moving image industry by bringing together chosen talent and representatives from each of the sectors.

The project's goal is to introduce and implement new possibilities for future media talents and to develop a breeding ground for new creators who are open to the different branches within the industry. The project aims to lead new cooperatives, business ideas and financing possibilities.

A pre-study will serve as the foundation of selected projects. This study will identify the different types of talents and issues the projects will present. The pre-study includes a research visit within the moving image industry as well as the latest trends in methods.

The project begins with seminars and activities where participants are introduced to one another and then exchange knowledge and ideas. They take this platform with them into the second phase where a Living Lab is conducted. Every Living Lab will be based upon a selected issue and will reveal results in a variety of intelligent projects. A selection of these will then be further developed into pilots. During the final phase, the projects will be pitched before a financing forum attended by industry professionals and other interested parties.

During the three years of this project, BoostHbg plans to conduct four round of cross media development projects according to the above description as well as host two financing forums.
